About Us

Syed Foundation is a not-for-profit and nonpartisan charity trust registered under Pakistan’s Trust Act in May 2018. This welfare and development trust has been formed by a group of Family members and friends in Karachi, Pakistan, to extend their services to the poor, vulnerable and less privileged people of the society and assist the disaster-affected people of Pakistan. It has the status of NPO under section 2(36) of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001. Its head office is based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.

Syed Foundation has worked to provide relief during the flood emergency of 2022 in different provinces of Pakistan, i.e. Sindh and Balochistan, with the help of sponsors, aid partners, and other local NGOs. It has been promoting youth empowerment and sports activities along with food drives, medical aid and scholarships. To alleviate poverty, particularly in the rural and slum population of Sindh province, Syed Foundation has executed self-sustainable projects that support women and daily wage earners to earn a dignified income and earn their livelihoods.
