Dear Readers,
On behalf of the Syed Foundation, I extend my warmest greetings to you all.
It is my privilege to introduce you to the Syed Foundation, a dedicated charity organization committed to alleviating the suffering of the poor and disaster-affected communities both in Pakistan and around the globe.
Founded in November 2017, our organization started with modest humanitarian efforts in Karachi and has grown significantly, thanks to generous support.
Initially focused on food distribution, we quickly expanded our mission to include poverty alleviation and promoting education. We began providing weekly lunches and celebrating special occasions with residents of Darul Sukun, and later introduced educational scholarships to deserving students, medical aid, and interest-free microloans for rural women in Sindh to support small businesses, and we provided essential resources, such as sewing machines, to foster entrepreneurship and self-sufficiency.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the super floods in 2022, we delivered critical relief and long-term solutions, including housing assistance, safe drinking water, medical aid and livestock support to help families rebuild their lives. We also carry out plantation drives in Sindh to address climate change and promote environmental sustainability.
We are also supporting Palestinian war victims together with our parents to provide life saving assistance.
I extend my deepest gratitude to our community for your trust and support. The achievements of the Syed Foundation, past and future, are a testament to your unwavering faith in our mission. On behalf of our foundation, I assure that we will continue working with your unwavering support to address needs of poor people.
